OK - pure speculation, but if this chest appeared in a PvP area on the day the BMP was released - maybe the BMP weapons are coming as PvP rewards? They clearly put a huge amount of effort into them, so it might make sense for there to be more than one intended purpose. Just a thought.

i think it is related to our Balth Faction, and i think for each time you open the chest, u need to spend like 1k-2k of your faction.

I wish you mo's would stop suggesting mini pets, those are such a waste of everything involved with them.

I hope it's flames, the second account I never use needs some unlocks.

I would prefer it to not be drops froma chest as I don't need junk.

But ANYTHING I can do besides Tourney Tokens I stack up and don't use will be great.

Weren't the treasure chests introduced with NF?

Anyway, yeah, I'm thinking that a.net might release SOMETHING along with the wintersday update. Giving items (a PvE oreinted player goal) for performing PvP seems like a good idea to help merge the communities a little bit. I mean, getting some bathazar faction is easy and any PvEer can do it, as opposed to winning HoH.

J_snukka is a great example. If something like this was implimented, it might draw more people into PvP (and I mean, the economy is already wrecked so there should be no fear of inflation if the chest drops phat loot).

Zaishen Challenge. Who needs to pvp for faction when you can get 2k a day, pretty much by just afking vs. IW team.

Assuming that chest is worth 10k, its not problem, but still, people refusing pvp can get it without being drawn in. Thou, dunno if that would be bad thing as its muhc much slower than playing pvp for reall.

wont pvp even if they give me a reason to ......and have nothing to use that balth faction on either since I unlocked all the skills the old fashioned way (pve characters of every profession).

wintersday is not that far away, so we will find out soon enough.

No what we really need is a de-customizer so we can sell weapons we have previously customized or use them for Heroes on a different toon or perhaps be able to de-customize, say, 15k armor from a PVE toon and give it to a PVP toon of the same class.

Or if you don't like the way your current toon looks you could de-customize every thing on it put it in storage or store it on another toon then delete that toon and create a new toon of the same class and re-use the armor and weapons.

Better yet be able to de-customize your armor and sell it when you get a new set.

Eh... yeah but most people who are casual players won't know about or find Zaiahen Challenge right away.

Oh and Cobalt... the reason armor is customized is so you can't sell it to other players. And umm... yeah decustomization is bad.

iirc, they first appeared around the beginning of Wintersday...
